For more than half of a century, Mississippi Tank Company has been designing and manufacturing the highest quality LPG Bobtails. Our purposeful design solutions and approach to transportation safety has made us a leader nationwide. All bobtail tanks are designed and built by our skilled craftsmen using the latest technology and quality materials.

Depending upon your needs, you may select either a Standard or Drop Deck design. Drop deck designs feature a one piece deck and replaceable one piece fenders. Decks are available in steel or stainless and aluminum covers are optional.

Custom built bobtail delivery units may be built on customer supplied chassis or let Mississippi Tank representatives offer preferred pricing on your chassis needs.

STANDARD FEATURES

  • 3” Blackmer Pump with 3” Marshall Excelsior internal valve and
    2” automatic bypass valve
  • 2” LC Meter with electronic register
  • 3-Function base radio remote system
  • Aluminum open deck
  • 1-1/2” Hannay aluminum hose reel with 125” of 1” hose
    Gauges: float, outage, thermometer and pressure
  • 2” sprayfill with 3-1/4” Acme and 1-1/4” vapor with 1-3/4” Acme
  • Betts LED lights, ID/brake lights, back-up lights and one swivel
    work light
  • 20 lb. dry chemical fire extinguisher and bracket
  • Chock blocks and holder
  • Dupont Imron 5000 white paint
  • One internal heavy duty steel baffle
  • Single axle fenders equipped with rear mud flaps
